Bada Dez and Dakini
Maya Tantric workshop report.
I recently attended Daka
Baba Dez and Dakini Maya tantric workshop
and I would like to express my experiences.
These 2 teachers are from the USA and gave a
series of evening and weekend tantra
workshops in the Byron Bay area and
Brisbane, Australia.
I attended the evening tantra talk
and I enjoyed the presentation. We did a guided
tantric meditation where the men imagined and felt what
it was like to be a women and women men. This
was a valuable experience for me. It gave me
some insight what being a women really felt
like.
I booked into the Friday night
and Saturday, Sunday tantra workshop. It was promoted
as a medium to advanced tantra workshop.
I have been to many workshops in this area and
have professional training in sexual healing.
On Friday night the teachers
were 1 hour late in arriving. We were told that
the organizer had
told them misleading information. Ok these
things happen and I did not emotionally react. I
did really enjoy the exercises on Friday night
and was looking forward to having great
experience during the next 2 days.
On Saturday
morning it was announced that one of the
teachers Maya had some emotional issues about
leaving Australia and was not
attending!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday was a lot of talking. The talking about homework that we
were given on Friday went on to
about 2 pm. Many couples got into their
emotional issues and this was not really
facilitated well by Baba Dez.
I did
communicate my feeling strongly to Baba Dez on
Sunday morning about the workshop and the facilitation had much
more direction and I did enjoy Sunday.
I did enjoy the g spot massage demonstration
with Baba and Maya. I felt this was very
valuable for new people to tantra. Most women
have never been touched with presence and as a
healing. Most men touch to please or turn on.
Watching her I felt some subtle energy move in
my body and I felt some mini energy orgasms. My
energy shifted after this experience. It does
take courage to do such an exercise in front of
a group and I thank Maya for being open.
I was
disappointed that we did not have the
opportunity to practice this as I have done in
many other workshops. True knowledge is felt in
the body. I know from talking to men that some
will leave this workshop and not practice this
with their partner or next lover.
I do know that
some beginners had a great experience from
attending the workshop.
The main thing I
feel l learnt was about personal power.
Accepting your shadow side means you can
use that energy to get more into my male energy.
I was disappointed that he workshop was not
intermediate to advanced as advertised.
I do know that
Babadez does hold more advanced workshops with
nudity.
I do know the world really needs more knowledge
about tantra and sexual healing.
